Our Client is a world leader and is at the forefront of diesel technology innovation, developing products including electronic unit injection, common rail diesel technology, rotary and cassette pumps.
In the role, as Development Engineer, you will determine development and validation plans for common rail pumps and be responsible for development planning for a particular pump application. The person will also work with the lead designer to determine FEA analysis and other modelling requirements. The position will require balanced decision making on cost, quality and you will work with other members of the cross-functional project team responsible for overall pump competitive success.
You will hold an engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent in physics etc and will have proven ability to develop and support a product taken successfully into volume production. Candidates will be able to understand apply physics to the development process and will have HP pump development experience. Basic project management skills are desirable and you will be able to constructively deal with conflict situations as well as being innovative and visionary in developing design options.
