The market leading special purpose machinery manufacturer for the semi conductor industry are currently recruiting for a development engineer on a permanent basis. With this company specialising in providing Gas Abatement Equipment to the Semi-Conducting Industry the requirement to develop and continually stay ahead of the competition is a big focus for the organisation. Working in a batch manufacturing, assembly and integration facility along side some of the greatest minds in the business.
The responsibilities of the successful person will be to take a conceptual idea and develop it into a working system. You will be liaising with all departments working with Bill of Materials, report writing and designing the entire process from cradle to grave. This would include seeing the prototype through to 1st and 2nd stage testing and into full manufacture.
You need to have proven track record of coming from either a design or a manufacturing background with experience of developing products through to test and completion. Have worked with a 3D design package and bill of materials and have the knowledge of understanding the processes that you have worked to and why.
