ENGLISH-SPEAKING ENVIRONMENT
Designers are now required to join this leading international energy services company based near Baden in Switzerland. In this role you will create CAD Models and drawings for manufacturing and inspection of parts.
As the Designer you will carry out the whole design work according to the Re Engineering Process which includes 3D CAD models, including those based on measured data. You will detail design and drawings and undertake assembly design and drawings. With experience, you will also be responsible for the modification and improvement of existing parts.
Successful candidates will be educated to HNC level or equivalent and have successfully completed an apprenticeship in technical design. You will have experience in CAD modelling and in generation of CAD drawings (Pro/Engineer preferred) of advanced Hot Gas Path Components for industrial gas turbines. Experience with cast parts is desirable. You will require good technical English language skills (written and oral). German would be beneficial but is not essential as you will be working in an English-speaking environment. You will have self-reliant working habits with the ability to independently create CAD models and drawings.
You will also participate in Engineering related meetings called by Development & Design Engineering Manager / Team leader, as well as general meetings called by the Managing Director.
