Project Description
Compressor Systems Engineering is responsible for the conceptual design, functionality and integration of the compressor sub-system and for the detailed definition of compressor system components (other than casings and drums).
A vacancy has arisen for a design Engineer to work on multiple Compressor projects. Compressor Systems is currently working on numerous projects, including Trent 1000, Trent 900 (inc EP), Trent XWB, Industrial RB-211 H63 & G62zero.
Essential Skills:
The successful candidate will have strong design background, preferably with some experience of Compressor components but any gas turbine design experience will be considered.
The candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent experience, supported by experience within Design Engineering.
Strong ability in conceptual mechanical design is a key requirement for this job.
