The Person: -
As a Design Manager you will have a broad knowledge of the design and installation of traditional heating and cooling systems and the ability to manage resources and time effectively. It is essential that you have good communication skills with clients, consultants and contractors so you have the ability to conduct technical meetings. Ideally you will be MCIBSE or working towards this. However, consideration will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
The successful applicant needs to be extremely career driven as there is a definite scope for Directorship further down the line.

The Role: -
As Design Manager you will manage the design department and will also play an active role in the design and coordination of heated and cooled slab applications. This is a rapidly expanding market and will form a central element of the position.
This is a senior appointment and provides an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to develop into an important management position within the company.

Our client is currently positioned as innovation leaders in the UK floor heating and cooling market and wish to consolidate their position over the next 5-10 years. Following expansion into new premises, openings for talented and driven Design Engineers and a Senior Design Manager have arisen. Our client has future aspirations to expand into the South of England as well as other market sectors. Progression to Director is envisaged for the successful applicant with share options available.
