Design Manager required to work on tenders and live projects, during the bid process you will manage the construction design through to submission. When projects are awarded the role is focused upon supporting the project
Position: Design Manager
Package: £50-60k plus full benefits.
Company: Construction Business working upon projects to £30m in the Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey areas. Sectors covered include Education, Health, Residential, Commercial and Retail.
Role: Design Manager required to work on tenders and live projects, during the bid process you will manage the construction design through to submission. When projects are awarded the role is focused upon supporting the project manager offering guidance and advice upon buildability issues and management of the design process.
Specific responsibilities include management of the design process, management of subcontractor design responsibilities, driving value management, design co-ordination, design risk, ensure the design process recognises current legislation, standards and Codes of Practice.
Requirements: You will have worked for recognised construction companies in the UK in a design focused role, will be well versed in construction design and will most likely have professional qualifications.
