Design Engineers-Powertrain & Embedded HW/SW
Our client is a leading force in the design and development in Electric Vehicles based in Norway this highly innovative and forward thinking company has plans for aggressive company growth.
Position description:
- Powertrain specification, design, test and validation
- Motor- and vehicle SW specification, design, test and validation
- Safety engineering following relevant directives
- Cross functional coordination and development with other development teams
- Supplier communication and technical management
- Component ownership
Qualifications:
- University degree at B.Sc/M.Sc/Ph.D level within the area of electrical engineering, power, power electronics or control engineering
- Proficiency in electrical drive systems (motor drives, motor control, battery chargers, preferably vehicles)
- Embedded HW/SW design
- Understanding the safety engineering concepts, single fault tolerance, FMEA, CE-marking
- Ability to write software and hardware specifications
- Understanding of test and validation requirements
- EMC competency an asset
