Design Engineer / Project Engineer - BMS / HVAC Controls / Switchgear

Our client is renowned for designing bespoke electrical control panels and is now expanding into custom BMS control systems. Catering to a diverse range of industry sectors, they have evolved into an organisation that provides leading edge solutions. They are now looking to recruit a Design Engineer / Project Engineer to join their team.
To succeed as a Design Engineer / Project Engineer you must be skilled in the Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning controls of commercial buildings and have experience in switchgear panel design.
You must also have the following:
- Electrical knowledge of 400v systems: 3 phase 400v motors, 1 phase motors, motor starting techniques i.e. DOL, ASD, Frequency Inverter control
- Ability to design motor control centres / control panels Form 2 Form 4 to IEC 60439-1 part 1 standards
- Skills in using HVAC Trend BMS systems
Additionally, as the Design Engineer / Project Engineer you must be PC literate and have the ability to work with your piers.
This role would suit a commissioning engineer wishing to progress into project engineering. Our client is also keen to hear from Junior Engineers with relevant experience.
Although not essential, any of the following would be beneficial:
- skills in AutoCAD version 2004 or ECAD for Windows
- experience of Honeywell, Johnson, TAC, Siemens controls
- experience with programmable logic controls (Allan Bradley, Siemens with TCP/IP Profibus, modbus communications)
This position will involve occasional visits to construction sites.
