Description
Design Engineer required with ProE/Wildfire experience to work on a short term 3 month contract in the Essex location.
Hours of work 37.5 with a max of 20 overtime per month. Flexi hours will enable a half day on Fridays.
A Design Engineer is required who is efficient in the use of ProE Wildfire to work in the Engine Installation Competency Centre
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish design concepts based on customer requirements for vehicle cooling systems, engine air filtration systems, exhaust systems and other affiliated components such as Engine Cooling Systems.
• Set up the Engineering Bills of Material part lists.
• Issue Engineering detail and assembly drawings for production release.
• Be involved in identifying & implementing cost reductions.
• Liaise with Purchase, Suppliers. Manufacturing and After Sales to ensure quality products are achieved and maintained.
Qualifications/Education (Preferred but not essential - Experience more important)
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience or an HND with 5 years experience.
Experience Required:
• ProE/Wildfire CAD system proficiency is essential.
• High level of computer literacy is essential.
