Our client based in Newcastle upon Tyne is a successful engineering company who are looking to appoint a Design Engineer.
The role will provide the opportunity to apply experience and knowledge to the design and development of new and existing products. It will involve managing the engineering content of projects, working closely with internal departments, directly with customers and suppliers.

Applicants should be educated to HNC and/or Degree level, demonstrate good technical knowledge combined with project management skills, experience of new product design, working to deadlines and delivering design solutions. Knowledge of Pressure Vessel standards such as ASME VIII and Piping Standards such as ASME B31.3 would be a benefit but not essential and experience in the use of a 3D CAD system would be an advantage.
