Design Engineer - Aerospace (Heaters)
Looking for a Design Engineer with a minimum of two years experience in thermodynamics, ideally in the Aerospace/Defence industry. Or alternatively a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering who has studied thermodynamics. You will provide technical support in the design and development of a variety of heat transfer products. The main products will include heaters and heater /fan units. Responsibilities to include:
*Ability to perform calculations in particular but not exclusively relating to heat transfer.
*Provide technical support to lead engineers/ project leaders through the design and development phase, assembly and *test of engineering hardware.
*Assist in the production of engineering documents as directed, to include: development test procedures, qualification test procedures /production acceptance test procedures /product failure investigation reports/ etc.
*Maintain detailed records of testing, analysis of test results and documenting formally in form of engineering reports.
*Maintain acceptable standards of professional conduct with respect to colleagues and customers.
*Maintain acceptable standards and practice in respect of health and safety at work.
*Maintain and advise workload status to direct supervision.
