Design Engineer (Speed Probes)
A degree qualified Engineer with a minimum of three years experience in electro-magnetic component design, and Aerospace or related industry experience, with knowledge of high reliability components for aerospace applications.
Main objective of this role is to develop high reliability transducers for use in aerospace applications in order to meet customer requirements.
-To develop a range of transducers types, (specifically magnetic proximity sensors to detect shaft speed) to meet customer requirements.
- To be responsible for all design processes through to fully approved products
- Support products throughout their lifecycle.
- To provide engineering support to the Marketing Department as required.
- Evaluate new product concepts.
- Understand customer requirements including build phase requirements
- Contribute towards the professional content and timely production of bid proposals.
- Liaise with other departments working with the project team.
- Arrange material/product test and validation
