Design Engineer
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Circa £25,000 salary + Benefits
Our client is a designer and manufacturer of top quality conveyor systems, producing food handling and special purpose systems for local and national companies. They have an outstanding reputation for quality, service and commitment to its customers and are now looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join their team.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the production of general arrangement and detailed components drawings, coordinating customer requirements with various company departments, and be able to deal effectively with our customers. You must enjoy working in a goal orientated integrated team environment and have familiarity of structural and component engineering and basic metal stress analysis. .
ABOUT YOU
You will be educated to HNC level or higher, in a engineering related subject or be qualified by experience and have gained solid experience in the use of Solidworks design package. This unique opportunity requires someone with flair, diplomacy, imagination and problem solving abilities. You will be able to work with the manufacturing team as well as solving practical problems via good design skills. You will be heavily involved in the whole design and manufacturing process, through to sales and installation from start to finish.
