Description
DESIGN ENGINEER - RAINHAM - NEGOTIABLE
Are you a Design Engineer with a flair for aesthetic product design? Are you keen to work on products from design through to manufacture? Our clients have a 18 million pound turnover and are looking to double this in the next 2 years though developing innovative new products. If you are a keen go getter with a flair for design please call.
Duties include:
Develop new designs both technically and aesthetically.
Develop the introduction of new processes and materials.
Resolve engineering and design problems being reported during the manufacturing process.
Provide engineering detail drawings and support to sub contractors as requested.
Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of the product range.
Participate in Design Review meetings.
Participate in the effective transfer of new product designs from R & D to manufacture.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have excellent CAD skills, experience of outsourcing and be commercially aware.
Experience of plastics, casting, machining, polishing & plating would be beneficial but not essential.
