Our client is a major international tier 1 supplier of powertrain units to the automotive industry. Due to an expansion in their business and a sharp growth in sales, they are looking to strengthen their team by recruiting a powertrain design engineer.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for various design activities including :
Co-ordination of drawing updates
Creation of parts, and the co-ordination of parts creation at an outside design house
Collation and creation of Pro/E models, both for detailed in house work, and for customer specific requests
An engineering degree or equivalent with a good practical understanding of IC engine technology as well as 3D CAD (ideally Pro/E) will be required.
