My client specializes in the design and manufacture special purpose machinery. The company takes the product from concept through to design, manufacture and commissioning.
Applicants will have
•An understanding of motors, pneumatics, gearboxes etc
•Experience of 3D CAD modeling systems
•Understand manufacturing processes and limitations
•Experience of designing special purpose machinery
•Understanding of fits and tolerances
•Work to budgets as well as time constraints
In this role you will you will report to the design manager, liaise with customers and suppliers. You need to be a team player but also able to use your own initiative. A HNC/ degree would be desirable but not essential as your experience is most important for this role.
