Based in the West Sussex, the company are looking for a Design Engineer. As a Design Engineer you will responsible for producing designs, quotations and work packages for Electrical distribution networks.
The company specialize in the. Design, Supply, Install, Test and Commissioning of Low Voltage Power projects for the Rail industry. Clients span the over ground and underground networks, and project scopes often include Electrification & Traction Power, SCADA Renewals, Cable Installations, Sub Station installations and station refurbishments. As a result of continued growth they are now looking to enhance their team with a Design Engineer.
Based in the West Sussex, the company are looking for a Design Engineer. As a Design Engineer you will responsible for producing designs, quotations and work packages for Electrical distribution networks. Using your experience in the concepts required in the design and operation of electrical networks this is a challenging role. Successful candidates will have a knowledge of transformer design specifications and an understanding of modern complex protection and control schemes.
To be successful you must have be all of the following:
Educated to a minimum of HNC in an Electrically biased discipline.
A technical understanding of the principles of distribution engineering design and operation, up to 132KV.
Will have a understanding of transformer design specification.
Understanding of complex protection and control schemes
A strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
Excellent Communication skills
