Our Client is a leading Portsmouth based manufacturing firm who are seeking to recruit a design engineer to develop and manufacture products for the worlds Naval and Commercial marine markets.
CAD Design Draughtsperson - Portsmouth / Havant - £26,000 plus benefits
Our Client is a leading Portsmouth based manufacturing firm who are seeking to recruit an experienced CAD Design Draughtsperson with a practical engineering background and Solidworks CAD experience to be responsible for designing and detailing existing products in accordance with design process.
You will work closely with internal customers and suppliers and as part of a team, using Solidworks you will help projects to design new product and components. The will be limited use of AutoCAD to update older drawings.
You should be qualified to HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering, and have a good working knowledge of materials, fabrication, sheet metal work and have excellent communication skills.
