Our Client is looking for a Design Engineer to work on various projects within the Structures Designl CoC reporting to the Local Head of Sub-Domain, Knowledge & Training.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining detailed design processes, deployment of the process and monitoring the use to ensure effective application and use of best practice.
The following skills/qualities will be required:
The successful candidate will have a Degree or HND in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering and strong experience in the Aerospace Industry.
The successful candidate will
Have good communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving.
Have the ability to rapidly and confidently assess problems under pressure and to provide the appropriate direction and guidance to team members.
Be a competent CAD user, preferably CADDS5 and OPTEGRA EPD connect.
Have a detailed understanding of the design process and of engineering best practices.
