A vacancy exists within the Nimrod MRA4 Partnered Support (PS) Process & Solution Design Team for a Design Integration Engineer.

The MRA4 PS Solution has been developed using the Cradle SEE toolset and is currently positioned within phase 4 of the ELC. The PS design represents both an availability and capability support solution for the life of the MRA4 platform. Working within the partnered team, the jobholder will be required to work closely with specialist personnel in the other support workstreams; as well as working directly with RAF and MoD members of the Customer community.

The purpose of the role is to undertake design management activities on the Nimrod MRA4 Partnered Support solution design. These activities will involve the management of the solution design within the Cradle SEE toolset to ensure that the design dataset is current and usable by the business.

The jobholder will be expected to ensure that their contribution continues to meet the business needs. In particular, reporting to the Solution Design EM and working within the Process & Solution Design Team he/she will be expected to:

1. Manage and coordinate changes to the solution design
2. Manage the design baseline through the ELC phases
3. Manage the harmonisation of the solution service level designs to ensure design consistency and integration
4. Provide updates and reporting for the overall solution level deliverables
5. Maintain the functional analysis of the external/Customer requirements and dataflow model
