MECHANICAL DESIGNER/MODELLER
Bootle, Liverpool 6 months - £28 Ltd - 2 positions available
Major Aerospace client requires Designer/Modeller. They will be part of the Engineering function producing detailed drawings that form part of the overall package.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the design of Lubricating Oil Systems, Gas Fuel Systems, Foundation Layouts, Mechanical Handling Layouts and overall major equipment assembly drawing including bills of material for the package. In addition the Designer/Modeller shall be capable of liaising with the manufacturing facility of the organisation to make practical decisions.
This particular role requires a designer who can multi task with experience in Operating Microsation V8 2004 CAD system and AutoCAD with knowledge of transferring the files between operating systems.
The role demands the individual to be capable of working as part of a team with the initiative to make their own decisions and working to a plan to ensure deliverables are met on time and correct. The Designer/Modeller will report to the Lead Designer.
A background in Oil & Gas preferred but experienced applicants from other fields considered.
Essential Skills:
Experience in operating Micro-Station V8 2004 CAD System
Experience in Operating AutoCAD 2002 CAD system
Knowledge of transferring the two files between operating systems
