One of our clients is looking for a highly security cleared candidate either holder of DV(A) security clearance or somebody who has no criminal convictions to undergo the highest security clearance.
Responsibilities:
• Investigation of cyber security events and/or incidents
• Assessing compliance against RMADS
• Identification of inefficient or ineffective controls
• Support the development of the Security Intelligence picture
• Formal reporting of investigations
• Conduct IT related security investigations as directed
• Establish degree of potential or actual compromise to security
• Place investigation conclusions in context of associated risks and previous security events to establish root causes and any changes to risk profile defined in RMADS
Requirements:
• HND / HNC in relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Qualification or certification in information security related discipline CISSP / CISM / CISA / MSc would be an advantage
• IT & Information Security principles
• Security requirements when operating within MoD environments
• Conversant with HMG Infosec Standards
• Technical knowledge of computer forensics investigations
• Broad knowledge of general security approaches to Physical Security, Personnel Security, Security Audit, Security Investigation and Incident Response
Location: Reading area
Salary: £35K-40K
