One of our clients is looking for a highly security cleared candidate either holder of DV(A) security clearance or somebody who has no criminal convictions to undergo the highest security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Managing output from network security management system
• Monitoring activity on corporate networks for compliance against RMADS
• Identification of external intrusion into corporate networks
• Damage limitation initiation in the event of unauthorised activity identified
• Support the development of the Security Intelligence picture
• Formal reporting of analysis, actions and conclusions

Requirements:

• HND / HNC in relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Qualification or certification in information security related discipline CISSP / CISM / CISA / MSc would be an advantage
• IT & Information Security principles and standards
• An understanding of general security approaches, including security audit, investigation and incident response
• Technical knowledge relevant to the work of the team
• Experience of operating systems, networking, firewalls and monitoring tools (such as Arcsight)
• Relevant experience, preferably in a proactive security role in a large commercial company, Government or military environment with exposure to security monitoring, auditing and investigation.

Location: Reading area
Salary: £35K-40K
