Customer Service Mechanical Engineer
Our client designs, manufactures and installs all types of production line equipment for the manufacture, painting and assembly of units.
The successful candidate will carry out line equipment studies and deep rooted problem analysis. Including implementation of countermeasure actions.
Mechanical assembly, equipment installation and commissioning of new improvements.
Assistance to the plant in trouble shooting during large or small equipment breakdowns.
Development of mechanical for specification for small projects including cost studies
Essential
Experience in related industry.
Experience of robot programming
Experience of installation & commissioning of robotic cells
Ability to carry out hands-on activity such as mechanical assembly and equipment installation.
Strong communication skills and team player at all levels.
Demonstrable experience of problem solving & implementation of countermeasures.
Experience of robotic spot / mig welding
Flexible approach to work and able to work weekends and shutdowns when required.
Desirable
HND in relevant engineering discipline
Paint process knowledge and experience
Experience of safety systems
Experience of generating reports and presentations
Experience in CE Marking of equipment & ATEX
Demonstrable experience of proactively driving through changes within current dept.
