An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Customer Account Manager for a global leader in fall protection.
Working from their office at Devizes the right candidate will have experience of increasing business as well as maintaining clients relationships. This market leader sell solutions throughout the aerospace, power transmission, utilities and telecommunications sectors.
Responsibilities:-The sales process Appointment gaining, planning (Including journey plans), preparation, objective setting, stage goals, call execution (including questioning techniques), agreed actions and following up.
-Empathy and building rapport with their customers.
-Politically astute and able to balance relationships within a niche market and understand how making one decision can have a numbers of different outcomes & ramifications.
-Building business through effective networking.
-Presentation, negotiation (including margin and mark up), influencing, objection handling, networking, listening, quick learning and aptitude skills.
-Reporting and recording of activities using CRM based software backed up by concise Monthly Reports.
-Show tenacity over long time periods to win important customers from competition.
-Leading customers to a decision through understanding the decision making process, backed by enthusiasm and effective listening.
-Able to identify and close new business opportunities whilst growing established customers.
Requirements:-Minimum GCSE's of English, Maths, Science.
-Technical background or keen interest in technical matters.
-Full clean GB Driving licence with no penalties pending.
-Solid, successful territory based sales experience, preferably gained within the construction industry. Selling to specifiers, main contractors, sub contractors, installers and distributors.
-The right individual will be looking for an opportunity to use and build their skill set in an environment where the result of their actions will be highly visible and measurable.
-Positive attitude, enthusiastic, presentable, possess good social skills, good sense of humour, capable of working under pressure, able to work as part of a team and have undergone formal sales training.
-This role will require the individual to stay away from home (1 night a week as a guide). This is not a 9 to 5 role.
-Fully conversant with Microsoft Windows and associated software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Salary:-£32k
