Candidate specification
Role:
To provide effective and timely cost engineering services to a key client within the defence sector
Working within the Cost Management team ensuring that costs are controlled, monitored and reported upon in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensuring Service Delivery to clients
Provide guidance and information to Project Managers and other interested parties on Cost related issues.
Mentoring staff where appropriate
To represent and raise the profile of cost management
Requirements:
Experience of Cost Engineering within a Construction or Engineering environment
The ability to represent the company in client meetings
Highly Organised and Professional
Computer literate ideally with experience on systems such as Oracle
A team player who is able work within teams but also use their own initiative
Able to report both internally and externally
Will to go through the governments security process and gain a suitable level of clearance
Experience of earned value would be an advantage
Based in Reading
