Control hardware engineer required to contribute to the development of a high performance highly featured drive controller.
You will need to be able to design microcontroller based hardware for industrial product control and be familiar with analogue circuit techniques and have an innovative approach to design and problem solving.
You will have experience Design of digital and analogue circuitry for use in electrically noisy environments. Able to advise on optimum pcb layouts and consider all aspects of designing a robust product. The engineer will require a comprehensive knowledge of the theory and practice relating to the operation of high speed digital circuitry and must understand the design constraints when applying microprocessors, microcontrollers, adcs, gate arrays, cplds and other programmable devices.
Previous experience with communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI and fast serial transceivers together with schematic capture, circuit simulation and pcb layout software would be an advantage.
