Description
We have an immediate requirement for a Controls Engineer with a key client operating across a number of industries.
The person appointed will be responsible for the project engineering of control systems for the Power and Marine markets. Experience of the design of PLC based control systems with HMI and SCADA operator interfaces is required. Liaison with clients and suppliers will also be necessary and there will also be a requirement to support commissioning activities.
Ideally, you should be qualified to HNC/HND level or equivalent in Electrical/Controls engineering. Knowledge of the use of electrical equipment in hazardous areas and cabling installation would be beneficial as would design experience of motor starter control panels.
There will be the occasional requirement to travel both in the UK and overseas for short periods.
