Description
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join a market leader in the Offshore Process Control Industry.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the execution of the contract in order to deliver the project to the satisfaction of the client whilst maximising the profit margin for the Company.
Qualifications:
Degree/HNC/HND in an electronic or engineering discipline and sustained engineering experience with process control design and/or safety system design
Relevant experience of medium to large scale engineering project management at the required level.
Key attributes & Requirements
A sound understanding of project management practices with respect to planning work and monitoring progress of ongoing work.
Able to command respect and trust both internally and externally when leading a multi-disciplined team of engineers and administrators.
Commercial awareness in the execution of engineering projects and solid understanding and interpretation of engineering contracts.
Proven ability to negotiate with clients and subcontractors on commercial, contractual and technical issues.
