The worlds leading manufacturer of optical medical products with a turnover of 114 million dollars, employing over 13,000 people in over 100 countries, are currently looking to strengthen their automated controls team with the immediate addition of a Control Systems Engineer.
Working within the large engineering development team, reporting to the Equipment Development Manager, you will be primarily be responsible for developing and documenting controls interface between equipment PLCs and SFIS (documentation) along with definition of controls software requirements for new equipment and understanding structure and content of software onboard automated production equipment so as to provide technical support to development engineers and operations.
The successful candidate will have experience in control systems design, including PLC programming with a working knowledge of Visual Basic and HMI graphics development packages.
In return our client offers a basic salary of up to £35,000, company pension scheme, life assurance and 20 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
