For over 35 years our Client has designed, installed and maintained safety system solutions for a diverse range of applications, both on and offshore, world wide. As a leading supplier to the petrochemical industry and due to continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, the urgent position of System Engineer has arisen at their site in Essex.
You will be responsible for producing Functional Design Specifications, generating all engineering documentation, supporting the manufacturing phase.
Ideally, you will have a strong awareness of the safety and control sector and be able to produce the necessary detail of hardware and software systems design. Experience of working on IEC 61508 would be distinctly advantageous.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment as part of a team of like minded people and can look forward to a salary of c28K, with 25 days holiday and a pension scheme.
