Here is an excellent opportunity for a Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join a company which designs and delivers energy solutions through combined heat and power (CHP) technology within the industrial sector, CHP, or cogeneration. Based in Solihull, the group is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant by the application of good engineering practices and project work alongside managing customer interfaces.
They now have exciting opportunities for Support Control & Instrumentation Engineers. Your role will be to support maintenance and outage strategy development, contribute to business cases for capital investment and new ventures and support development activities including participation in risk reviews. You will support the preparation and implementation of maintenance, projects and outage works, which includes developing technical specifications, product & work breakdown structures and routine and predictive maintenance to ensure the integrity, safety and efficient operation of the portfolio.
HNC qualified or with an equivalent technical qualification you will possess sound knowledge of maintenance principles with relevant experience ideally gained in a large industrial environment. You will be competent in the application of Health, Safety & Environmental requirements and the preparation of specifications and management of contracts. Strong communication skills along with the ability to relate to a wide cross-section of people are essential.
This combined heat and power division comprises of industrial customers served by a diverse fleet of generating units. You will be joining a group that is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant by the application of good engineering practices and project work alongside managing customer interfaces. Their plant portfolio includes a wide range of process and control systems associated with GE, Siemens and Solar equipment.
