Description
Contracts Manager
A good contracts manager is required to manage house foundations contracts and projects in the Peterborough & Cambridge area predominantly. They will be responsible for planning contracts in conjunction with other depts and subcontractors. They will take managerial responsibility, reviewing estimates, design and front projects with the client from receipt of the order (following hand over from the sales team) through to final completion. Therefore, candidates will need previous experience in a contracts management role in the construction industry. They must have a managerial CSCS card. Candidates are likely to have a NHC or HND in civil engineering, some autocad skills, excellent managerial and people skills, good communication, organisation, planning, influencing and negotiating skills in addition to a wealth of knowledge and experience in the construction industry. Candidates must be self managed, computer literate and have a reasonably clean driving licence.
Due to the location of the work - ideally we need someone who lives around the Cambridge Peterborough area
Benefits package - salary circa £31 - 37k, 25 days annual leave, plus shut down between Christmas and New Year - usually an additional 3 days hols, life assurance 4 x annual salary, company car, healthcare, discretionary bonus scheme, excellent pension scheme - contributing 6% into their pension.
