Our client specialises in prestige projects nationwide which demand high quality bespoke joinery. With projects ranging from isolated bespoke joinery items to complete fit outs, they are now looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to fill a high profile position.
As a Contracts Manager you will come from a joinery background or have a good knowledge of joinery. You should be computer literate and be able to control a project from award to completion, with demonstrable experience of the following:
- pricing of additional works
- formulating of the applications for payment
- programming
- dealing with the client and architects on a one to one basis
- leading an in house production team
To succeed in this role you will have previous experience as a Contracts Manager, ideally gained from within a joinery background.
You must also have good organisational and communication skills, and be able to work accurately and practically, ensuring deadlines are met, even when under pressure.
This position is office based at Newton Abbot, with 1 or 2 days a week on average taken up with site visits or attending meetings.
