Contracts Engineer
Leicester
£20 -25k
My client designs and manufactures special purpose machinery in the Leicester area. In this role you will work closely with the Engineering Manager while liaising with the customer. As you will be required to travel to site with this role a company car will be provided so a driving licence is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will
•Have overall responsibility of contracts, manage them from order to completion
•Be responsible for the management of site activities including Health & Safety
•Liaise with the customer on all elements of the contract
•Provide necessary site supervision and inspect the site works and documentation
•Liaise with internal and external contractors to manage the build on site
•Collate financial performance of contracts and provide feedback which will be used for future contracts
You will have a HNC in a related subject and have an H&S qualification. You will have a good understanding of technical drawings, be computer literate and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
