TEK Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced Contracts Design Engineer who will be responsible for managing multiple projects ensuring all contractual, engineering, financial and quality standards are met.
TEK Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced Contracts Design Engineer who will be responsible for managing multiple projects ensuring all contractual, engineering, financial and quality standards are met for our Derbyshire based client who provides storage solutions to the process industry.
Duties will include:
* Management of contracts ensuring that they achieve or exceed predicted margins.
* Scrutinise contract and engineering documents and make Contracts Engineering Manager aware of any onerous terms.
* Monitor potential technical problems and develop corrective action plans to prevent re-occurrence.
* Demonstrate a pro-active approach to contract management and solution of contract issues.
* Create appropriate project plans for each contract and use them to manage the contract and communicate the status of the project to customers and company personnel.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
• HNC in Mechanical Engineering discipline or time served experience
• Working knowledge of both Excel, Word and Microsoft Project.
• High level Autocad knowledge.
• At least 5 years Contracts/Project Engineering experience.
