Job Description
An international aerospace company requires an Aerospace Stress Engineer who will be responsible for the stress analysis of structures and systems components in an Aerospace environment.
Responsibilities
* Responsible to Integrated Product Team Lead Engineer for progression of Stress Analysis tasks.
* Responsible to Principal Stress Engineer for application of Stressing processes and methods of analysis.
* Responsible for liaising with all elements of the Integrated Product Team as required to progress the design solution.
Experience & Qualifications
* HNC Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or extensive practical experience.
* Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Aeronautical) considered an advantage.
* Four years Stress analysis experience working in a stress and/or design office in an Aerospace or related industry.
* The candidate should have an extensive knowledge of traditional hand analysis techniques as well as being computer literate.
* A knowledge of Finite Element Methods and mechanical systems would be an advantage.
* The candidate should also enjoy working in a team environment as well as working to meet the timescale requirements of multi-disciplined programmes
