Contract Officer is required for this leading defence communications company based in Gloucestershire to broadly ensure that all contractual documentation received and issued by the company are both suitable and acceptable.

Contract Officer is required for this leading defence communications company based in Gloucestershire to broadly ensure that all contractual documentation received and issued by the company are both suitable and acceptable.

Review, negotiate and finally achieve suitability & acceptability of the Terms & Conditions presented by other companies/customers. Tailor company standard contracts & sub-contracts to suite the individual customer or vendor needs. Produce,complete and /or review NDAs, MOUs, Licences etc. Prepare departmental submission for the Phase Review Process. Custodian of the company standard Terms & Conditions.

You will have demonstrable experience in reviewing & negotiating contract terms & conditions within a commercial environment. Working knowledge of the contract review process. Recognition of commercial risk.
A thorough knowledge of DEFCONs, DEFFORMS, Guidelines For Industry (GFI), and MOD Commercial Policy. General knowledge of the communications industry, preferably Military or Government oriented would be an advantage.

You will be a bright, outgoing & enthusiastic person with a professional attitude. Team orientated, with the ability to work unsupervised but with direction. Attention to detail, Computer literate, Customer aware and focused, and ability to communicate well both written and orally.
