£38,000 + Car allowance
As part of our clients strategy to offer continual performance improvement to their customers we are looking for a Continual Improvement Manager who will form part of a team that will identify and develop projects that will deliver our strategy.
Role Specification:
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying utility savings opportunities and progressing these through to successful completion, in conjunction with operational and other technical staff on customer sites. The energy reduction programmes delivered through Continual Improvement is a key part of our client's strategy for providing value to both new and existing client base. The role involves frequent client interaction and travelling to client sites across the UK. The successful candidate is likely to have either a HND, degree or equivalent in a scientific or technical discipline.
Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate will possess the following competencies: -
-Proven competence within the field of Energy Management in an industrial environment.
-An in-depth knowledge of the industrial conversion processes, particularly related to energy and utilities.
-Liaising with and presenting cases to customers at a high level.
-Knowledge of the regulatory environment in which industrial customers are working (including CCL, IPPC, EUETS, etc).
-Proficient IT skills; with the ability to compile comprehensive progress reports to the Senior Energy Manager.
Salary and Benefits:
Up to £38,000 + Company Vehicle Allowance.
The position is primarily home Based, with travelling appointments throughout the south east.
