Due to the continued success of our client and previous successful involvement in Olympic projects, the London office is seeking a professional consultant Project Manager to consult on sports related projects.

Due to the continued success of our client and previous successful involvement in Olympic projects, the London office is seeking a professional consultant Project Manager to consult on sports related projects.

The role will involve providing a high level consultancy service to different bodies on the provision of Olympic and other sports related projects.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone with previous sports and leisure experience (stadiums, parade grounds, recreation grounds, swimming pools, entertainment venues, etc), to get involved from an early stage in major London and South East based projects.

The ideal candidate will have worked for a construction or property consultancy for a minimum of five years in a senior role in the capacity of project manager. The ability to report at the highest level is essential as is the desire to see a project through from inception to completion.

The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in a construction related field and will be professionally qualified (RICS/CIOB or similar). Experience of overseeing the project planning of a major event is a prerequisite with specific sports experience highly desirable (some of which will be temporary structures and facilities).

Due to the nature of the project and the involvement with governing bodies the successful candidate will be a team player, a natural leader and will be motivated and committed to see a projects delivered to an impeccably high standard and on time
