Successful candidates will work with existing and new clients to stimulate and promote excellent client relationships, contribute to the growth of the business and to provide a power systems analysis and technical advisory service customers within the renewable energy sector.
The main challenges of the role include:
•To manage a portfolio of key clients, to build and enhance client confidence in the companys work and capabilities, and develop new / repeat business opportunities.
•To quickly respond to changes in the market, to assess the key technical issues, and identify, where possible, new services for clients
•To represent the company with clients, and in the market
•To produce technical reports as part of the power system analysis team
•Commitment to gaining an in-depth understanding of power system concepts and dynamics relating to electrical networks and electrical machines
•To develop skills in the industry standard power systems simulation packages, for example, PSS/Viper, PSS/Sincal, PSS/E, PSCAD, IPSA, MatLab, DigSilent
Qualified to minimum degree level in Electrical Engineering, you will have experience working in an electrical engineering environment in a sales, business development or consultancy role. Sound commercial and negotiation skills are essential.
