My client are the major building projects arm of an international construction group. My client provides a comprehensive service for design & build, private finance initiative (PFI) and traditional contracts throughout the UK.
We now have a vacancy to recruit an ambitious Construction Manager to join the Senior Management team in a high profile role for an exciting, long term multi billion pound project in London.

THE COMPANY

My client now have a vacancy to recruit an ambitious Construction Manager to join the Senior Management team in a high profile role for an exciting, long term multi billion pound project in London.
REQUIREMENTS
The Construction Manager will be expected to manage and lead by example, all worksite based activity, with particular responsibility for safety, quality, production, specification and programme compliance. This will include setting development and performance goals for the operations team, monitoring and assisting with the achievement, as well as ensuring that sub-contractors are properly and effectively managed with reference to sub- contract obligations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Construction Manager is a key member of the Project Core team and will be expected to work with colleagues in developing and implementing the Project Strategy plan to achieve Client and Company objectives.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The successful individual must have:
Significant experience within the Construction industry and previous experience in working on major D&B projects.
Previous experience with a main contractor
Educated to at least HNC level
Have drive and energy with excellent team skills
Excellent communication skills, combined with good IT knowledge.
