A Sales Engineer is required to join a market leader who provide Condition Monitoring and Vibration Analysis products and services to a range of sectors. You will be home based and your area will cover the Midlands to the North between the M62 North and the M40 South. A suitable background and qualifications are required to be successful in the role as is some Sales Engineering experience although the position may suit a Condition Monitoring Engineer with an outgoing personality who would like to move into Sales.
You will promote and sell a range of Engineering products including Alignment Systems, Condition Monitoring and Vibration Analysis tools, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Equipment and Machinery Services using a consultative approach that utilises your technical skills. Sectors you will typically sell in to include Power Generation, Manufacturing, Petrochem, Chemical, Steel and Paper.
You should ideally have a background in Engineering Sales, and a firm understanding of Condition Monitoring. Vibration Analysis (Or CM/NDT) qualifications would be a definite advantage, as would recognised Engineering Qualifications.
Being home based you will be supplied with a company mobile phone and laptop and home broadband. The role will require some infrequent overnight stay due to clients based at the furthest point of your given sales area (Expenses covered). Basic salary will be in the region of £32k, with commission (£5K + Realistic earnings), and a company car (Or cash alternative to the value of £6K per year). Healthcare, Contributory Pension, and 25 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays) are also part of the excellent package.
