Role description:
Responsibilities will include condition monitoring data collection, analysis of data collected, interpretation of results and diagnosis of equipment defects, recommending maintenance actions to clients. The work will also involve other onsite troubleshooting and rectification activities, such as in-depth vibration analysis, structural testing, balancing and machinery performance testing. The work will require frequent visits to the clients sites and offices. The diversity of the services that we offer gives us exposure to every sector of industry and commerce. Our customer base is both wide and varied and includes small one man businesses to Multi-National Companies operating in the following areas:

Requirements for the Role:
The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree or HND level in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of three years experience in VA
• Direct hands on experience in the operation of a routine vibration monitoring programmes, involving the use of hand-held vibration data collectors and analysis software, is essential, together with a good knowledge of the principles of machinery vibration.
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of Industrial Equipment:
1.Generators
2.Motors
3.Gearboxes
4.pumps
5.Air handling units
• To have an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Have a good eye for detail and be meticulous in approach to tasks.
• Must be numerate, computer literate, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to organise themselves and others effectively and efficiently.
• The successful candidate must have an appreciation of the importance of customer service and how this is applied in the context of Dowding and Mills.
• Have knowledge of and experience of managing projects in a controlled environment.
