Commodity Manager (Defence)
Looking for a Commodity Manager who is experienced at managing MRP and major contracts within the Military sector.
You will be capable of negotiating both internally and with the supplier base to meet customer requirements and to maintain cost effectiveness, lowest cost of ownership and on time delivery. You will be responsible for the purchase of all materials for both manufacturing and engineering. You will develop a strategic approach to supply chain management and implement best practice techniques. You will facilitate the use of the internet as a means of trading with the supply base. You will be a qualified CIPS member. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
Salary is £41,000 - £42,000 + benefits.
