Commercial Officer required in South Wales to work for a large UK defence organisation. The position involves day-to-day management of allocated contracts or sub-contracts; monitoring performance and ensuring compliance to Terms and Conditions. You will raise purchase requisitions, prepare and submit quotations, help with administration, provide milestone planning and support negotiations. This role involves direct customer/sub-contractor contact. To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will need a good education with commercial/contract experience in the UK Defence (or engineering telecommunications) industry, preferably with the MOD as a customer. You should be highly computer literate, have a clear understanding of the basic order/invoice process and a knowledge of finance processes. Successful applicants must be able to obtain UK MOD security clearance prior to appointment.
