Commercial Manager required for major engineering and defence organisation based in Lancashire.
Commercial Manager required for major engineering and defence organisation based in Lancashire.
I am currently inviting applications from Commercial Managers who are looking to work for a forward thinking, rapidly expanding organisation. Candidates will be responsible for providing effective management of the commercial and project aspects of the business. Candidates should possess demonstrable expertise in commercial management, with supporting knowledge of pricing and project management.
Ideally candidates will have experience gained from within the defence or aerospace sectors but this is not a pre-requisite. Any knowledge of BAAN is highly advantageous.
Candidates will be accountable for the following:
1.Reports to the Head of Customer Support for the effective performance of all duties
2.To produce, manage and maintain the accuracy of including feeding data for the departmental reports:
3.To manage the department schedule of activities in order to ensure customer time-scales are met in line with their individual contracts:
4.To produce commercial quotations for work carried out by the CLS department: 5.Day to day dialogue with customers for commercial and project management matters:
6.To deputise for the Head of Customer support as required
