Part of a 10,000 employee Multinational Group with an outstanding growth track record, our Client is itself a rapidly expanding business with recently opened regional sales centres in the South West, Midlands and Northern England. With Headquarters near Heathrow, this £15M business is well-known and respected throughout the Building Industry as a supplier of specialist technical expertise... and thereby to bespoke construction engineering solutions that typically involve products sourced from multiple manufacturers. This business model in turn creates the unusual situation where the Company's most powerful sales and business development resource is its internal team of 8 sales/account managers rather than the more traditional, remotely-managed field-based structure.
The effective management and motivation of this team is therefore key to the Company's continued growth and commercial success, particularly in terms of assuring a maintained, proactive business development culture that is linked to a coherent, customer service & continuous improvement-led sales & marketing strategy. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to, and possess the depth of management skill to, develop into a natural successor for the current West London HQ General Manager within 12 months or less.
