One of our key defence clients requires 2 additional commissioning engineers with a predominantly Combat Systems background.
To conduct inspections and carry out tests and trials of ship installed electrical and electronic systems whilst maintaining accurate records and results for presentation to the customer.
The job holder will be responsible for:
- Identifying, recording and clearing installation deficiencies
- Setting and maintaining satisfactory trials conditions
- Monitoring machinery and system performance
- Fault finding and rectification
- Analysis and diagnosing of records so that specified systems performance is achieved.
- To conduct inspections and carry out tests and trials of ship installed Weapon, Navigation and Communications systems
- Maintaining accurate records and results for presentation to the customer.
