Description
Our Client require creative and dynamic Engineers who can think out side of convention. Successful candidates will be part of the project developmen
group, for Hinge Systems and must demonstrate their own initiative, motivation and ability to work as a team member. The responsibility as a Design Engineer is to design and develop vehicle closure systems from concept inception to production feasibility. Such products include door check links, hinges and other novel products. Skills for Automotive Components Design DepartmentBasic Requirements:Minimum 1-year work experience (ie. full time designer, not University project) with 3D CAD package including 3D modelling and 2D drawing creationPreferred software:I-DEAS (also known as C3P or SDRC)Catia version 4UnigraphicsOther CAD software users considered (will train on above systems)Other skills that would be beneficial:Automotive or some production-related experienceMetal stamping experienceKnowledge of DFMEA's, GD&T Academic RequirementsUniversity engineering degree (BSc or BEng)Degree not essential if candidate has adequate work experience.
